Locum Consultant in Obs & Gynae (Specialist interest in Fetal Care)

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Consultant to contribute to the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care across the full spectrum of Obstetrics and Gynaecology services while supporting the continued development of the department., The successful candidate will be expected to provide comprehensive Obstetric and Gynaecology care and possess the clinical skills required to manage a wide range of complex patient needs.,

• Delivering high-quality, evidence-based Obstetric and Gynaecology care.
• Working closely with colleagues as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT), including participation in regular MDT meetings and discussions.
• Maintaining continuing responsibility for patients under your care, including associated administrative duties, supported by dedicated secretarial assistance.
• Contributing to the development of specialist interests that align with departmental priorities and the wider strategic objectives of the Trust.
• Participating in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, teaching, examinations, accreditation activities and continuing professional development.
• Providing reciprocal cover for Consultant colleagues during periods of annual, study and other approved leave in accordance with Trust policies.
• Supporting clinical governance through participation in clinical audit, quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education activities.
• Undertaking appropriate duties during emergencies and unforeseen circumstances to support service delivery.
• Participating in the Consultant out-of-hours rota as detailed within the agreed job plan.
