Locum Consultant in Gastroenterology

We are looking for a dynamic individual to fill this new post within the Gastroenterology Department at the St Jamess University Hospital. The aims of this exciting post are to support and further develop the core general gastroenterology and endoscopy service. There will also be an opportunity to pursue specialist interest in interventional endoscopy, including EMR/ESD.

The endoscopy service in is one of the largest and best equipped in the country and has well recognised leaders in interventional endoscopy including EUS/ERCP and EMR/ESD. There are close links with the transplant hepatology unit, the specialist surgical departments and we are supported by a renowned team of radiologists. You will be joining a team that has demonstrable experience in delivering high quality, innovative care to our patients across both a local and regional footprint, and with strong academic links to the University of Leeds. The Team is supported by a triumvirate management structure with accountable clinical leadership, supported by senior nursing and management input at both CSU and Speciality level.
