Locum Consultant Cardiologist with an interest in Devices

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic and innovative devices team at the Royal Wolverhampton Hospital NHS Trust for a 1 year fixed term locum consultant post. The post holder will, in conjunction with Consultant and Senior colleagues, provide general cardiology, , device implants, clinics and MDTs and play a full part in the out-of-hours On-Call service for the department., This new substantive post is in view of growing demand for device implants, semi-retirement of one colleague and the in keeping with the aspiration to develop new services.

We need someone who will work well within our existing team of PCI interventionists to enhance the existing service. You would be joining an enthusiastic team. The successful applicant will be part of a 1:17 week cardiology ward weekday on-call rota when normal activities are cancelled.
