Full Job Description
This fixed-term post at THH has arisen with subspecialty expertise in Cardiac Electrophysiology. This is a 10 PA post with cross-site commitments at both Hillingdon and Hammersmith Hospitals. At Hillingdon, the post holder will be required to contribute to the care of general cardiology patients on the ward, perform 2 outpatient clinics per week, contribute to the reporting of direct access GP investigations and vetting of GP referrals. At Hammersmith, the post holder contributes to the electrophysiology service with two lists per week. There is an on-call commitment of 1 in 20 weekends at Hammersmith Hospital.
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
