Summary
Trust FY2 Doctor in Medicine
We have a vacancy for a Trust FY2 doctor in Medicine at EDGH for up to 12 months fixed term period.
Candidates will require full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
Please note this a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
EDGH is in the South East corner of the UK amidst a country and beachside setting with easy access to London, Gatwick and Brighton. We offer a wide experience in General Medicine and we are committed to providing training and study opportunities.
You will be encouraged to maintain a Personal Development Plan that can be used as evidence that all F2 competencies have been achieved whilst in this post. We have an active structured teaching programme with induction day.
This post is based on a 28 bedded acute medicine ward at Conquest Hospital. The team (3XFY2, 2X SpR, and consultant) will be responsible for looking after patients on a medical ward Monday to Friday during working hours. You will be supported by a daily consultant ward round and regular input from specialists as required. There are no fixed on-calls for acute medicine but on-call opportunities might be available with mutual agreement.
