We are recruiting an experienced Team Manager to join our Hemsworth base.


The ever increasing and stable permanent workforce have worked hard to improve outcomes for the children and families of Wakefield. Social workers in Wakefield know their children and strive to achieve the best for them. That's why we need a committed and energetic Team Manager to develop and support a workforce of strong and confident practitioners.


What are we asking from you?



  • A qualified and experienced social worker, with a proven track record in achieving the highest standards of practice in complex casework.

  • Able to evidence your management and leadership qualities and experience.

  • An individual who can develop and maintain highly effective relationships with colleagues and adopt a restorative approach to management, offering high support and high challenge and leadership to the team.

  • A team player, passionate about contributing to quality service provision.


You will be expected to assist the Service Manager by providing support and guidance to other team members to promote strong practice and positive change.
