Full Job Description
Midway Care Group is seeking an experienced Locality Manager to oversee our beautiful supported living service Fazeley, Tamworth . This is an incredible opportunity to empower adults with learning disabilities, mental health diagnosis and associated needs to lead fulfilling lives while driving high standards of care and support., As a Locality Manager, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management for our supported living service.
- Ensure services meet and exceed CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain person-centred care plans that promote independence and choice.
- Recruit, train, and develop a passionate team to deliver exceptional care.
- Build positive relationships with service users, their families, and key stakeholders.
- Take on the responsibility of Registered Manager for the service.
- Expected to manage 1,500 care hours over multiple sites, Ensure safeguarding protocols and relevant legislation are adhered to.
- Drive continuous improvement and address service shortfalls proactively.
- Respond to new referrals, complete thorough assessments, and ensure service occupancy targets are met.
- Monitor staff performance, provide supervision, and support professional development.
- Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the service.
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). - Proven experience managing supported living services or similar settings.
- Strong leadership skills with a proactive and compassionate approach.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing supported living services or similar settings
- A valid driver's license and flexibility to travel as required
