This is a rare opportunity to become the first statutory Senior LGPS Officer for the Isle of Wight Pension Fund and play a leading role in its future development.

With around 18,000 members, a strong funding position and a newly integrated pensions service covering administration, governance and accounting, in this new role you'll have the opportunity to have a lasting impact.

About the role

As the strategic lead for the Pension Fund, you'll provide expert advice to the Pension Fund Committee and Local Pension Board, oversee governance and administration, and direct the Fund's approach to funding, investments, risk and compliance.

You'll also lead the Fund's response to significant national reforms, including the Government's evolving pensions agenda.
