Full Job Description

Our Employability division is expanding due to the procurement of a new contract, and we therefore look to welcome a Liverpool Youth Trailblazer Programme Co-Ordinator to our experienced team. Your main duties will include:

  • You will coordinate a programme which has been developed to support NEET young people access meaningful employment and overcome barriers to work
  • You will provide tailored one-to-one mentoring and practical employability support to a caseload of young people, from the point of sign-up right through to providing in work support
  • You will manage relationships with stakeholders including funders, partners and other organisations delivering youth trailblazer, ensuring comprehensive programme co-ordination
  • You will connect participants with local employers for exclusive job opportunities and work experience.
  • You will work to empower young people to build sustainable careers and thrive in the local job market.

    Developing strong relationships with referral partners, training providers, employers and NEET young people aged 18 - 21
  • Strong interpersonal skills; approachable, adaptable and supportive to the range of stakeholders involved in this programme.
  • Ability to build strong rapport and positively guide young people to look at their approach to challenges and managing them in a new way
  • Young people have a positive experience and achieve their goals.
