Live-In Carer

We're a friendly, family-run care agency looking for a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Carer to join our team and support a lovely client in Barton in Fabis. If you're passionate about helping others live independently, have experience supporting people with dementia, and are looking for a rewarding role where you'll feel genuinely valued, we'd love to hear from you. Please note: We do not offer sponsorship. The Role You'll live in the client's home on Monday 11am and come out the following Monday 11am, providing personalised support that enables them to enjoy the highest possible quality of life in familiar surroundings. • Building a positive relationship
• Providing conversation, encouragement and emotional support
• Sharing enjoyable activities and interests
Daily Living Support
• Preparing healthy, nutritious meals
• Supporting with shopping and household tasks
• Light housekeeping and laundry
Personal Care
• Assisting with washing, dressing and grooming
• Medication prompting and reminders
• Moving and handling support where required
Community Support
• Accompanying the client to appointments and outings
• Supporting hobbies, interests and exercise routines
• Driving when required

• Experienced in supporting people living with dementia

• An excellent communicator
• Respectful of clients, their homes and their independence
• Passionate about delivering person-centred care
Must speak clear english Dementia awareness training Previous care experience is essential for this role. A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be advantageous.
