Live-In Care Assistant

Shifts: week-long shifts. Short-term (2 weeks on) and Long-term (5+ weeks on) live in packages available (2-hour break daily),

Salary: £799.68- £846 .72 per week, plus a £40 food allowance (Client Dependant), WIFI and transport costs included

Availability: Be able to work full time hours on either a short-term or long-term package. A minimum of 3 months' prior experience in caring for elderly or dementia clients. Applicants with live-in care experience or extensive care experience are highly desirable. The ability to connect professionally and empathetically with elderly or disabled clients, even in challenging situations. An understanding of the needs of elderly individuals, people with Dementia, or disabled adults who are vulnerable within society. Ability to administer medications, provide personal care, and complete administrative tasks, supported by strong knowledge of manual handling practices and health & social safety standards ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Ability to help with grocery chopping and meal preparation based on clients' preferences and needs as well as keeping up with food hygiene standards A passion for enabling person centred care and support The ability to maintain meticulous records and documentation
