Litter Assistant

As a Litter Assistant, you will take pride in maintaining the high standards of presentation across the Warwick Castle site. You'll work outdoors in all weathers, either independently or as part of a wider team, ensuring all public and back-of-house areas remain clean, tidy, and guest-ready at all times. Key Responsibilities

• Empty all site bins daily and perform detailed litter picks
• Collect waste from commercial units, restaurants, and site compounds
• Separate and recycle cardboard, paper, and glass
• Transport rubbish to skips and monitor waste levels throughout the day
• Maintain cleanliness of site bins, furniture, and compounds
• Report waste collection needs and hotspot issues to G&G Management
• Support with general grounds maintenance tasks, including leaf and path clearing, salting in frosty weather, and gulley cleaning
• Treat external wooden furniture and fixtures when needed
• Provide mentoring support to new litter team members
  
  This is a fixed term position with a contract end date November 2025. Due to the nature of our business, exact hours and days of work will vary, so a flexible approach is essential. At certain periods throughout the year, you may also be required to work during the evening in line with the needs of the business., High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
