Full Job Description

We are looking for a robust, career-minded Litigation Paralegal to join our team. Areas of focus and responsibilities

  • Collating bundles for hearings - electronic and hardcopy
  • Assist with preparation for hearings
  • Electronic and hard copy document management
  • Assist with drafting correspondence
  • Carrying out legal and business research, due diligence and disclosure
  • Drafting, reviewing, amending and proof-reading materials and documents
  • Working with the lawyers to prepare fee estimates and pitches
  • Managing litigation filings and documents
  • Management of large-scale litigation projects including budget, quality control and timescale
  • Setting up project plans and monitoring and updating these
  • Managing complex billing processes including the production of spreadsheets of costs incurred
  • General administrative duties

  • Experience working as a Litigation Paralegal is highly desirable
  • This role would be ideally suited for someone who has secured a training contract commencing in 2027 or beyond, and who wishes to gain work experience in a top-tier firm prior to starting their training contract
  • Familiarity with relevant technology e.g. document management systems, time recording systems, disclosure review platforms etc.
  • Strong research skills
  • Be able to work as part of a team and under pressure
  • Financial aptitude (for billing)
  • Strong academics
  • Excellent written and communication skills

    The essentials
  • 9.30am - 5.30pm but flexibility is a must
  • This role is a 12-month fixed term contract
  • A minimum of at least two days per week in the office but during busy periods (for example court hearings) more frequent attendance may be required
