Linen Room Assistant

As a linen room assistant you will ensure that all wards, departments, theatres and any other area requiring linen, are provided with daily deliveries of good quality clean linen, whilst ensuring that the agreed quantity and mix of linen are delivered., Prioritise demands from users of the service. Organise, checking, storage and issue of clean linen to end users Ensure daily linen supplies are packed and sorted for distribution to wards / departments Counting and recording of daily linen stock deliveries from Laundry. Participate in linen counts and stock checks on wards and departments as and when required. Ensuring that newly purchased linen is appropriately marked before it is put into circulation. Organise and prioritise own day-to-day tasks. Use initiative in response to emergency situations regarding linen supplies or shortages.
