Line Leader / Setter

As Line Leader you are responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of foiling machines including machine start-up and shutdown procedures, monitoring production processes, carrying out product changeovers, troubleshooting operational issues, and performing preventative maintenance ensuring all products meet quality standards while achieving production targets, minimising downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment.

WHAT OUR LINE LEADERS DO: Conduct daily pre-start up checks to ensure machines are safe to runComply and adhere with all health, safety and environmental standardsAdhere to risk assessments, SOP's and safe systems of workMaintain high housekeeping and health and safety standardsFollow safety procedures and ensure a safe work environment in line with SHE requirementsActively coach, support and upskill Foiling Operatives working on a production lineMonitor the foiling process, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring optimal performanceIdentify and resolve problems within the foiling process, including equipment malfunctions and material issuesInspect foiled products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR LINE LEADERS: Previous experience to carry out machine set up, troubleshooting and quality controlCompetent in reading product specificationExperience in product inspection, checking and planning aheadStrong Attention to detailGood
