Light Vehicle Technician

To carry out scheduled repair and maintenance of the Waitrose E Commerce Vehicle fleet and outlying branch vehicles, in a professional and competent manner. Providing technical support to the on site transport department and Local Waitrose and John Lewis branches.,

• To carry out scheduled repair and maintenance of the on site E commerce light commercial fleet.
• To carry out repair and maintenance of outlying commercial and light commercial vehicles
for John Lewis and Waitrose branches and CDHs.
• You'll be aware of best practices and current commercial vehicle repair techniques, to deliver high-quality repairs are carried out in a cost-effective manner and that the use of spare parts and consumables reflects the level of work carried out.

• City and Guilds Level 1,2 and 3 Vehicle technician or equivalent qualifications
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence
• A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness
Desirable Skills:
• IRTEC
• LGV C+E Driving Licence
• EV experience

In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 18:00 - 22:00 will attract an Evening Premium at a rate of £3.25 per hour, and any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract a Night Premium at a rate of £4.25 per hour. This will also apply to existing Partners who have enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements. At a glance Salary: The salary offered for this role is up to £55,000, depending on skills and experience, plus overtime is readily available., Working Hours: Full time role, 37.5 hours per week on a 2 week rota, plus working 1 in 2 Saturday mornings, at premium overtime rate.
• Week 1: Monday to Friday - 06:00-14:00
