Position: Lift Repair Engineer

Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: Up to £54,000 (including OTE) based on skills and experience level, plus overtime, call-out, and standby.

Working Hours: Monday-Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45

Friday: 08:00 - 15:45 (early finish)

Your Role

As a Lift Repair Engineer, you will be the backbone of our operations in Cambridge and the surrounding areas. This hands-on role focuses on:

• Repairs and fault finding on lifts


• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues


• Replacing and upgrading components


• Attending breakdowns and supporting call-outs


• Getting lifts back into service safely and efficiently


• Completing site paperwork and keeping records up to date

Your Patch

You will cover a local, structured patch that includes:

• Commercial, residential, and public sites


• No unnecessary long-distance travel

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• An NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent


• Proven experience as a Lift Engineer with minor repairs


• A valid UK driving licence
