Job Description
Lift Repair Engineer Job in Salisbury at Stannah - Join Our Team! Stannah | Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: Up to £53,000 (including OTE) based on skills and experience level. Overtime, call-out, and standby are also provided.
Hours: Monday-Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45; Friday: 08:00 - 15:45 (early finish)
We're looking for a Lift Repair Engineer to cover Salisbury and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role focused on repairs, fault finding, and keeping lifts running reliably. You'll be working across a local patch, dealing with breakdowns, worn components, and more complex faults. You will manage your own work day-to-day, with support from a local supervisor when needed.
Your Patch
- Covering Salisbury and nearby areas
- Local, structured patch
- Mix of commercial, residential, and public sites
- No unnecessary long-distance travel
Lift Repair Engineer Responsibilities
- Carrying out repairs and fault finding on lifts
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues
- Replacing and upgrading components
- Attending breakdowns and supporting call-outs
- Getting lifts back into service safely and efficiently
- Completing site paperwork and keeping records up to date
Qualifications
Lift Engineer Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
- Full UK driving licence
