We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about health and fitness and capable of delivering a great customer experience.
You must have strong communication skills, have a "can do" attitude, and be able to establish and maintain excellent relationships with customers and colleagues.
You must be able to offer advice and programme updates accordingly in order to help a wide range of customers to reach their specific fitness goals. Positivity, enthusiasm and flexibility are essential characteristics required to help deliver cutting edge services at Staveley Healthy Living Centre, Queens Park Sports Centre and other venues as directed in the Chesterfield Borough communities.
We are committed to improving the health and wellbeing of our community and are looking for like minded staff to drive the service forwards and ensure we retain our current members but also attract and engage with new ones.
We have two posts available. One permanent post at nine hours per week at The Healthy Living Centre and one fixed term 10 hour annualised post covering both sites.
Applicants must have a minimum NVQ level 2 gym instructor (or equivalent). Ideally a GP referral qualification is desired or the intention to complete one within 6 months of the post
The successful candidates will be subject to a disclosure carried out by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
