Full Job Description
We are currently seeking an exceptional Library and Study Skills Assistant- Maternity Cover. You will make a significant contribution to our highly successful literacy and learning programme area.
You will support the Library's promotion of wider reading, assist with enrichment activities and liaise with subject areas to ensure that our learning resources are used effectively. The role is varied and will offer a rewarding opportunity to enable our students to achieve their full academic potential.
In addition, you should have excellent communication skills and a track record of sustained improvement leading to a positive impact on students' progress. You will be committed to student-centred learning, and to raising the attainment and aspirations of our students.
Leyton Sixth Form College offers a wide range of A level and vocational courses to approximately 2,300 full-time 16-19 year old students.
