The Information Management Team within the Science, Data and Analys group offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Librarian. The Defra Library team provides a variety of customer groups with access to a wide range of information resources. Defra library is part of the Government KIM (GKIM) professional community that works across departments, agencies, and arms' length bodies (ALBs) to support and champion the creation, organisation and exploitation of information and knowledge.

Defra Library team provides library services and resources to support all staff in Defra, APHA, and Natural England in having the evidence base to perform their business functions. In addition, the library also provides these functions to the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC), Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD), Office for Environmental Protection (OEP) and a Document Delivery Service to the Marine Management Organisation (MMO).
