Full Job Description
Shropshire Libraries has a vacancy for a Library Assistant to work as part of a team delivering library services in Shrewsbury Library. The main duties of the post will be to operate the library efficiently, providing a positive experience to all customers and ensuring a safe and welcoming community space.
The post holder will need a flexible approach to tasks and responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be confident in using computers and be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for libraries.
The hours are required to be worked on a 2-week rota including alternate Saturdays. Additional hours may be available from time to time to cover for staff absences.
