Library Officer

As part of the wider Library Specialist team, you will have a key role in delivering stock, digital, information and promotional expertise across the library service and be instrumental in project delivery. You will work closely with and support members of the Operations Team with events, outreach and school visits. You will manage a designated stock area and create engaging social media content to drive library visits and membership, placing us at the heart of the community. This role is also customer facing, dealing with enquiries from the Borough's residents. The role will involve some evening and weekend working.

We have a full-time permanent post for a Library Officer primarily based at Maidenhead Library but with a requirement to cover all libraries within the Borough. The salary is £30,193 - £34,104 per annum., 32 days annual leave plus bank holidays and option to purchase more.
