Full Job Description
Working alongside the whole-school leads for literacy and reading, the post holder will play a key role in ensuring that reading is fully embedded in to the culture of the academy, with the library at the core.
- Be able to work independently and with initiative
- Be willing to support student reading intervention groups
- Be interested in the development of young people, especially their reading fluency
- Have good communication skills
- Be energetic, well-motivated and flexible
- Have a professional manner and plenty of common sense
- Be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Be able to work with ICT including interactive whiteboards
