We welcome applications from colleagues at all stages of their careers who share our commitment to delivering an exceptional education and enriching opportunities for all learners. UKAT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Librarian and Intervention Support colleague to join our dedicated team at Chatham Grammar. This varied and rewarding role combines the management and promotion of our school library with wider student support responsibilities, helping to create an environment where students can develop confidence, independence and a love of learning. The successful candidate will support literacy development, independent study and intervention programmes whilst contributing positively to student wellbeing and inclusion. At Chatham Grammar, we believe that every student deserves access to high-quality learning resources and the support they need to thrive both academically and personally. As a member of our support staff team, you will manage the day-to-day operation of the library, promote reading and literacy across the school, support intervention programmes and build positive relationships with students. Working closely with teaching, pastoral and inclusion teams, you will play an important role in removing barriers to learning and creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where all students can succeed. Most importantly, you will be a positive role model who helps students learn, achieve and thrive.
