The Tees-wide Liaison Psychiatry Services operates across Teesside, supporting North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, by providing mental health assessment, advice, diagnosis, treatment and care planning to patients with complex needs.

This role may be eligible for sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route. Visit https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa, Working closely with other professionals in the team, the post holder will work across traditional age barriers to provide a liaison service that is inclusive of all adults aged 18 and over, whilst being supported to develop expert skills in specific areas of liaison. This post will be supported by a clinical team consisting of band 6 nurses, psychiatrists, psychology, and associate nurse consultants. The service operates 7 days a week over 24 hours, therefore unsocial hours and weekend working is an expectation of this post.

You will require excellent communication skills, problem solving and influence, able to work under pressure while remaining calm and maintaining quality.
