Introduction
This role focuses on ensuring that components meet required safety, performance and regulatory standards alongside ensuring that production process follow strict quality procedures ensuring reliability, customer satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.

Based in Dudley, West Midlands, Alloy Heat Treatment (AHT) is the UK's first specialist aluminium alloy heat treatment company. Established in 1974, the business has over 50 years of experience providing heat treatment and associated processes to customers across the aerospace, automotive and engineering sectors.
What You'll Do
- Carry out planned inspections and quality checks on parts and assemblies, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
- Accurately record, analyse, and report quality data to support manufacturing performance and decision‑making.
- Support and contribute to structured investigations into quality issues, including root cause analysis and the identification of corrective and preventative actions.
- Apply quality control procedures and documentation to ensure consistent product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Support internal and external audits, contributing evidence, actions, and follow‑up where required.
- Work closely with production teams to maintain, monitor, and improve quality standards within manufacturing processes.
- Use manufacturing and quality data to support continuous improvement activities and reduce defects and variation
Training Outcome
