Full Job Description
A specialist SEN school in Baguley is seeking a committed and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to support pupils with complex needs in a nurturing and well-resourced environment. The Role: As a Level 3 SEN TA, you will work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils with a range of additional needs, which may include ASD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties. You will provide both 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils to access a personalised curriculum and develop key life skills.,
- Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN
- Deliver targeted interventions and structured activities
- Support communication, social development, and emotional regulation
- Assist with behaviour management using positive strategies
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals
- Contribute to a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) - Experience working in a specialist SEN setting
- Strong understanding of SEN, including ASD and SEMH
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Competitive daily rate of £110 - £115 - Full-time hours (8:30am - 3:30pm)
