We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join Oakley Primary Academy! You will make a real difference to the learning and progress of our pupils, working to provide one-to-one and group support and teaching. This role includes adapting teaching resources, thinking of new ways to learn, being fun and creative in your approach and adaptable to children's needs. Our Teaching Assistants are highly valued in our school - you will work closely with our SENDCo and SEND team to provide our children with the best possible educational opportunities. An element of your duties will also include preparation of fantastic teaching resources/class displays. The opportunity:

    Will possess GCSE English & Maths Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent
  • Experience of supporting pupils with SEND of behavior needs would be beneficial.
  • Possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
  • Can be adaptable, take on board new ideas and think on their feet!
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues

    Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 5 Point 5 £14,252
  • Hours: 24 hours per week, working 08:45-15:15 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 days), Oakley Primary Academy is a vibrant village school in the heart of Oakley and is a proud member of Meridian Trust.
