Full Job Description
The Social Care pathway provides a truly integrated, recovery focussed service to the people of South Staffordshire aged 16 and over, who are experiencing significant and disabling functional mental health difficulties.
Our social workers are core members of the multi-disciplinary mental health pathwayssupporting the recovery journey of adults with significant mental health needs.
We are supported by strong partnerships and working relationships with local service providers and voluntary agencies. We pride ourselves on providing a responsive and effective service to the communities of South Staffordshire.
We currently have an opportunity for a Level 2 social worker and would particularly welcome applications from social workers who are also Approved Mental Health Professionals., We currently have an opportunity for a Level 2 social worker and would particularly welcome applications from social workers who are also Approved Mental Health Professionals.
You must have significant post qualifying experience, preferably of working in mental health services, and be registered with Social work England.
The Social Care Pathway in South Staffordshire currently has accommodation in Stafford and Cannock.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and innovative individual who possesses excellent communication and organisational skills and has a good working knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act.
The successful candidate must be a team player with excellent communication and IT skills.
If you are not a warranted AMHP, you must be committed to undertaking AMHP training at the earliest opportunity.
