Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistants

About the Role

You will work closely with students aged 4-19 who have a range of moderate to complex learning difficulties, including communication and interaction needs and complex autism. Your role will involve:

Supporting students' learning and development in the classroom and beyond

Excellent interpersonal skills and a flexible, team-oriented mindset

Educated to GCSE level in Math's and English or equivalent (this must be evidenced)A commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing

A desire to learn and grow in a supportive environment

Experience with special needs is highly desirable, as is knowledge of:

Makaton

PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System)

Sensory-based approaches
