Pay: £27,164- £27,539per annum based on experience Working Hours:Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week. Location:Choochoos Day Nursery, 50 Mill Lane,Harbledown,Canterbury,Kent,CT2 8NE About our Nursery Choochoos Day Nursery Canterbury is located on the outskirts of the beautiful cathedral city of Canterbury and is a purpose-built nursery providing care for children aged 0-5. Our ethos focusses on providing children with the freedom to explore and learn through play, whilst also engaging them in regular trips around the local area to visit places such as Canterbury Library, Westgate Gardens and the local park. Located in the heart of Canterbury, we are a short walk to the city centre, and are just 5 minutes off the A2 with free parking. What Your Role Involves As a valued member of our team, you'll:
• Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Monitor and celebrate children's development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
• Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others
