Full Job Description
We have a new opportunity for a Lettings Officer to join our team in Oldham on a 12 month fixed term contract. About the role In this role, you will provide an excellent lettings experience to new and transferring customers. You will support the prompt letting of empty homes to meet turnaround targets and minimise rent loss, while ensuring all agreed lettings procedures and processes are followed. You will work closely with colleagues, contractors and external partners to ensure residents are signed up, welcomed and inducted into their new home. Alongside this, you will help manage tenancy changes, build strong relationships with local authority partners and support the safety and wellbeing of residents by identifying and responding to safeguarding concerns in line with agreed procedures.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:
- Proven experience of providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
- Proven ability to provide accurate and clear responses to routine customer enquiries - by telephone, email, text and in writing.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
