Leisure Team Member Apprenticeship

Introduction

Based at Burnley St Peter’s and Padiham Leisure Centres you will gain a broad range of experience-based knowledge of services provided within Burnley Leisure. As this role incorporates lifeguarding; a minimum swimming ability is required, and you will be required to undertake a swimming test in addition to satisfying college assessments.

What You'll Do

Duties include:

• Teaching swimming
• Supervision of bathers
• Gym inductions
• Cleaning operations

Working as a team and supporting others is essential.

Training Outcome

Burnley Leisure will support and process your learning within the Leisure Industry. You will be gaining qualifications that are specific to the Leisure Industry. The apprenticeship is a great way to gain full-time employment with Burnley Leisure and progress to your full potential.
