Leisure Assistant - Newcastle upon Tyne

This is a true hybrid role that requires serious energy. One minute you are maintaining impeccable hygiene in the changing rooms and providing vigilant poolside lifeguarding, and the next you are switching gears to hype up our brand new padel courts. You will be the friendly face running sessions, building our local padel community, and ensuring the entire leisure club runs safely and smoothly., As our Leisure Assistant and Padel Activator, you are the engine of the shift. We trust you to handle:

• The Pool & Standards: Acting as a vigilant lifeguard to STA guidelines, responding instantly to emergencies, and taking absolute pride in deep cleaning the changing rooms and public areas so they are always spotless and compliant with COSHH regulations.
• The Padel Community: Championing our padel courts. You will welcome new players, handle session registrations, set up the correct equipment, and actively grow a vibrant, inclusive local padel community from the ground up.
• The Guest Experience: Being the ultimate go-to person on the floor. You will answer questions, guide members, report maintenance defects immediately, manage lost property, and ensure the entire club feels welcoming and safe.
