Job Title: Leisure Assistant
Rate of Pay: £13.43 per hour
Hours: 15 per week
Contract: Permanent
Type of Employment: Part Time
Location: Malling School, Beech Road, East Malling, Kent, England, ME19 6DH
We are looking for a customer focused Leisure Assistant to take responsibility for ensuring the safety of all users of the Leisure Centre, with particular attention being made to those utilising the pool facilities.
You will be required to work as part of a team and individually to perform a variety of tasks, including cleaning, lifeguarding, setting up sports equipment, administering first aid. You will also be expected to complete additional duties assigned to you by your line manager.
The ideal candidate for this position will hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and will be enthusiastic in attending lifeguard training on a monthly basis.
We are looking for a reliable friendly individual with a strong Customer Service focus, to host the bookings at the School and manage the Security of the Building after the lets. The individual must be flexible on their availability as lets are usually in the evenings and weekends. Initially the post is for a guaranteed 15 hours per week but may include more hours dependent on bookings. You may be required to cover lets at one of our other Schools to cover absence.
