Full Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor who will deliver high-quality water hygiene risk assessments across a range of sites, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and exceptional client service. Role Responsibilities:
- Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments manually and electronically across various sites in accordance with BS8580-1:2019.
- Produce high-quality reports, including schematic drawings, using a tablet (admin support provided).
- Provide clear and confident technical advice to clients and internal teams.
- Cross-train in additional competencies such as Pseudomonas assessment, scald risk assessments, and further water hygiene-related disciplines.
- Support operational tasks as required to meet contractual commitments., Opportunity to join a specialist water hygiene team delivering essential compliance services.
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role: - Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor.
- Demonstrable experience assessing domestic water systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Enhanced DBS (preferred; can be arranged if required). Desirable (training can be provided):
- Experience working within hospitals or healthcare environments (HTM04-01).
- Experience with process water systems.
- Experience with spa baths in line with HSG 282 guidance.
