Full Job Description
An established and friendly law firm in Wymondham is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support its Private Client department. This role is ideal for a highly organised individual with strong attention to detail and experience in private client matters, including wills, probate, and estate administration.,
- Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to Private Client fee earners
- Audio and copy typing of legal documents, correspondence, wills, and legal forms
- Managing client files from opening to closure, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Handling client enquiries professionally, both in person and via telephone/email
- Liaising with clients, HMRC, financial institutions, and third parties
- Diary management, arranging appointments, and managing key deadlines
- Preparing probate and estate administration documentation
- General office administration, including billing support and file archiving
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Private Client - Strong typing and document production skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills with a professional and empathetic manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal case management systems desirable
