Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in the Department of Psychology, Royal Holloway, University of London, starting 1 September 2026, for a period of 12 months. The post is open to applicants with a background in any area of psychology, although there is a preference for expertise in developmental psychology.


Applicants should possess the broad range of skills required to teach effectively at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and to lead others in teaching delivery and development. They should also demonstrate strong commitment to delivering an outstanding experience for our students.


Candidates for this teaching-focused post should have a relevant research background as well as a track record of making significant contributions to teaching practice in psychology, for example through the development of successful teaching and learning aids and/or pedagogic publications.
