Full Job Description
You'll provide inspiration, skill and practical experience to students across our department's courses. You'll also contribute to the development of our course offer, building on our innovative provision.,
- Plan and develops lessons, including the development of schemes of work
- Develop and implement learner-centred assessment methods, with focus on constructive and development feedback for our students
- Encourage, monitor and report on the attendance, progress and achievements of students
- Ensure safe working environments for students and colleagues, enforce health and safety standard in your area, ensuring all students understand and comply
- Undertake personal coaching and pastoral responsibilities for designated students in order to support them int heir own development and future progression
- Keep abreast of industry developments in your specialist area to ensure the relevance and continued employability of our students
- Actively participate in continuing professional development around theory and practice within the education sector
Hold a teaching qualification and have experience of teaching in the Further or Higher Education sectors All applicants should have good administrative skills and be able to accurately track students' attendance, progress and achievements. We're recruiting for a Lecturer - SEND to join our team on a sessional, hourly-paid basis, term-time only, and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £14.16 to £24.74 per hour, including London Weighting, depending on qualifications and experience.
