Full Job Description

We are seeking a Lecturer to join the Occupational Therapy team within the School of Healthcare Sciences.

In this role, you will be supported to deliver high-quality teaching and contribute to the development of our education programmes. You will support students to develop key skills at undergraduate and/ or postgraduate levels. The successful candidate will pursue excellence in teaching and scholarship.

We are looking for someone with a passion for student-focused, innovative teaching. You should be well-organised, collaborative, and demonstrate leadership qualities.

The successful applicant should have a postgraduate degree at PhD level in a related subject area or relevant clinical expertise and have current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). An enhanced criminal records check will be required.

As part of their probation individuals will be supported to participate in the Cardiff University Education and Fellowship Programme which will give you with accreditation as a Higher Education Academy Fellow on completion of the programme.

Salary:
£41,064 - £46,049 per annum (Grade 6) or
£51,753 - £56,535 per annum (Grade 7). Appointments to roles at Cardiff University are usually made at bottom of scale unless in exceptional circumstances.
