The College is working on an exciting new project to train learners into employment in Rail Engineering. You do not need industry experience in rail but if you did, that would be a distinct advantage.

If you are proud to be in your profession and are interested in sharing your wealth of experience and knowledge to bring on the next generation of engineering workers, then you may well be interested in joining our Engineering team based in Farnborough. You will have appropriate industry experience in mechanical engineering and delivering the foundation hand skills of general Engineering will be a core part of your delivery.

Previous teaching experience, although desirable, is not essential. Passing on your knowledge and experience to future talent can be hugely rewarding and gives you the opportunity to shape the future of your industry's workforce.

Relevant industry experience is preferable and in addition, you need to be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can engage with FE students to ensure that they reach their full potential. Teacher training towards a recognised qualification can be provided while you work.

You will have a level 3 or above qualification in an Engineering related subject and relevant industry experience. A recognised assessor qualification is a distinct advantage but not essential although experience in education is essential.
