We're looking for an enthusiastic HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with expertise in teaching, training and supervision to join our supportive and ambitious team within the School of Health and Social Care.

As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in teaching, assessment and academic activities contributing to our BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy Degree Apprenticeship and cross teaching to our full-time BSc Hons Occupational Therapy programme, helping to prepare competent, compassionate and practice-ready graduates.

You'll work closely with the course team and practice partners to ensure our programmes reflect the realities of contemporary occupational therapy practice and the changing needs of the NHS/other sectors., Deliver an outstanding student learning experience through the design and delivery of high-quality, inclusive, and applied teaching grounded in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. In this role, you will actively champion student success by driving improvements in retention, attainment, and graduate outcomes. To deliver, and where appropriate lead, scholarship and research, innovation, knowledge exchange (RIKE) and/or professional practice/ engagement, producing high-quality outputs and developing pathways to impact that strengthen curriculum quality, advance academic activity, support income generation and enhance the Universitys academic reputation and civic mission, working collaboratively within academic teams and with external partners., This role involves teaching, assessing and supporting student progression on our pre-registration BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy- Degree Apprenticeship programme to prepare learners for contemporary practice. This post is ideal for an HCPC-registered Band 6 or experienced Band 5 occupational therapist seeking to move into higher education, with opportunities to innovate teaching and inspire students, contribute to research activities and develop an academic career.
