Full Job Description
Liverpool Business School is seeking an ambitious and inspiring academic to join our dynamic team and help deliver an exceptional student experience. This is an exciting opportunity to make a broad contribution to our academic work in the field of Innovation Management, influencing the next generation of business leaders and innovators. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our curriculum, particularly in areas such as innovation strategy, product and service development, organisational change, and the management of innovation in contemporary business contexts. You will teach across a diverse range of programmes including undergraduate, postgraduate, and, where appropriate, executive education, bringing your expertise to life through engaging lectures, tutorials, and seminars. You will also design and deliver high-quality teaching materials and assessments that challenge and inspire students, while contributing to the planning and development of modules and programmes that reflect the latest thinking in the field. Beyond teaching, you will have the opportunity to establish an independent research portfolio aligned with the school's priorities, engage in professional and knowledge exchange activities, and contribute to the wider academic mission of the school. This is a chance to combine your passion for research with your commitment to delivering an outstanding student experience. We are looking for a candidate with a strong academic background and a genuine enthusiasm for innovation management. You should hold a postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience relevant to the discipline, and ideally a PhD in a related subject, or be close to completion within one year of appointment. Experience of teaching at undergraduate level or delivering professional training is essential, along with the ability to teach across both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and supervise postgraduate students. You will be confident in contributing to curriculum development and taking responsibility for the effective delivery of modules and programmes.
