Lecturer in Health and Social Care

Location: Farnborough, Hampshire

Contract: Permanent

Employer: Farnborough College of Technology

Salary: Competitive Salary and Excellent Benefits. Part time, 0.4

We are seeking a qualified professional to teach on our Btec Health and Social Care programmes up to Level 3.

Ideally applicants will have taught at this level previously, hold at least a degree or equivalent with a recognised teaching qualification, or be willing to study to gain the qualification.

Previous teaching experience, although desirable, is not essential. Passing on your knowledge and experience to future talent can be hugely rewarding and gives you the opportunity to shape the future of your industry's workforce. Teacher training towards a recognised qualification can be provided while you work.

In addition, you need to be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can engage with FE students to ensure that they reach their full potential.

This is a superb opportunity for a first-class applicant to teach in a highly respected and top-performing college. In turn we can offer you interesting and varied work with an excellent benefits package.

  • Benefits include: Teachers Pension, 40 days holiday, onsite gym, Employee Assistance Programme including Savings Centre offering retail discounts, Refectory and free on-site parking.

  • Farnborough College of Technology is an Equal Opportunities Employer.

Interviews will take place shortly after the published closing date or when a suitable number of appropriate applications have been received, so early submissions are encouraged. Suitable candidates may be interviewed before the closing date, and we reserve the right to withdraw the position if an early appointment is made.

Please note we are not accepting speculative applications from agencies.
