Lecturer in Hair, Make-up & Special Effects

We're looking for an enthusiastic and supportive Lecturer in Hair, Make-up & Special Effects to join our School of Creative Industries at Nantgarw Campus on a permanent basis, with a 4-hour (one day) weekly teaching commitment.

The current timetable for this post is primarily focused on tutorial delivery and pastoral support, working closely with learners to support their engagement, wellbeing, progress and achievement. As a Lecturer, your responsibilities will reflect the wider Lecturer role, and your teaching allocation may develop in line with curriculum and learner needs., All staff employed at Coleg y Cymoedd have a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of learners, and all those working at the College are expected to uphold this commitment. As part of our safer recruitment processes, all new starters must successfully complete the required pre-employment checks prior to commencing employment. This includes an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. For roles that involve direct interaction with learners, registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is also a mandatory requirement.

Roles at Coleg y Cymoedd are campus based to support teaching, learner experience and service delivery.
