Full Job Description

  • Deliver engaging GCSE English and Functional Skills lessons that inspire and motivate learners to achieve their full potential.
  • Provide outstanding teaching, learning and assessment to oversee learner progress and success.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and achievement.
  • Work cooperatively within a supportive team to share best practice and enhance the learner experience.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support excellent learner outcomes by helping students develop their skills, confidence and qualifications.

    Hold, or be willing to work towards, a PGCE teaching qualification or equivalent
  • Possess a degree or equivalent in relevant subject area
  • Is passionate about helping young people succeed.
  • Can inspire and motivate learners from a range of backgrounds.
  • Has experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills English (or transferable experience).
  • Is motivated to continuously improve and professional development
