Full Job Description
The School of Engineering and Computing at the University of Lancashire is home to a vibrant and growing community of students and staff across a broad range of Engineering disciplines including aerospace, mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering. We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering to support teaching and contribute to a high-quality student learning experience within the electrical and electronic engineering provision.
The primary purpose of this role is to contribute to structured module delivery and to provide high-quality academic and pastoral support within the subject area. The post holder will contribute to the assessment of credit-bearing work and provide timely, constructive feedback, both formally and informally, to support student learning and professional development in electrical and electronic engineering.
You will have experience of teaching in a higher education environment within Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline, and will demonstrate a strong commitment to high-quality teaching, student support, and inclusive learning practices. You will be IT-literate, able to work effectively on your own initiative, and contribute positively as part of a collaborative academic team.
You will hold an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, together with a relevant postgraduate qualification., Disability Confident
