Summary

The School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Law is seeking to appoint a full time (1FTE) Senior Lecturer in Education (Primary and Early Years) (TSPP) to play a key role in the development and delivery of our initial teacher training (ITT) portfolio. In this post, you will be responsible for developing and leading post-graduate and undergraduate courses within the portfolio of ITT provision, primarily in early years and/or primary routes. The role is varied and interesting with a balance of teaching face to face and teaching online, and includes significant time spent in our partner schools observing trainee teachers, offering feedback and supporting them with their placement and practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to contribute to a growing, innovative portfolio of initial teacher training courses. You will work closely with academic colleagues, schools and colleges and other industry stakeholders to ensure that we provide up to date and relevant initial teacher education.
