14/09/2026, Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking to recruit a permanent Lecturer in Economics to support its Business School next year, 2027.Birkbeck's Business School offers an excellent research friendly environment, with its Bloomsbury location offering access to a range of academic institutions in central London.As Lecturer, you will be expected to teach across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Economics and also to teach on our overseas programmes in China and elsewhere. You will be supported to publish internationally excellent research, and contribute to the effective delivery and development of our portfolio of taught programmes. This is a tenure-track post.We are seeking to broaden our economics research and teaching portfolio in ways that build on and complement our existing strengths. For this appointment, we have a particular preference for Macroeconomics, although excellent candidates from all core areas of Economics will be considered.This is an exciting time
